A lil Different From The Usual?

Hi there,

Personally I am a fan of Assam Laksa. I don’t know about you guys, but I simply enjoy the taste of it. It is served with mint leaves, cucumber, pineapple, fish slices, and onions. Many has recommended me to try this place, so I decided to try this place out!

I ordered the traditional Claypot Assam Laksa. It taste very close to the ones in Penang. To be honest, the taste of the soup is so fulfilling. It does not taste blend or dilute. It is priced at RM 8 per bowl, which is decent for the portion and the location.

Next dish is their famous Fried Laksa. It is the exact same Assam Laksa, but the twist is, its FRIED! Can you believe that I could taste the exact items in the soup in this fried dish? It does taste like a combination of Fried Kuey Teow and Assam Laksa infused together.

Love to try this out?

Asian German?

Hey dear readers,

This week I will be blogging about my recent dining experience in Sausage & Ribs Shack. Upon entering, you will be required to take off your shoes to maintain the cleanliness and homey feeling. It is a family business and the chef and employees are very friendly.

These are the snaps of the food that we ordered.

Handmade Fettucine with Bacon and Mushrooms

You could feel the texture of the fettucine, making it taste very homemade.

Homemade Sausage Platter (350g mix)

It’s their house speciality because the sausages are all homemade.

Singapore, here we come!

We decided to take a bus to Singapore on Saturday Morning. Thankfully after everything, it was a memorable trip and concert!

Many things happen unexpectedly. For example, our bus left us at the Immigration Office. We were already late for it, yet they just left us over there. Sigh.

We did make it, got a bus that would take us down town. We took a grabcar to our hotel and rushed to the National Stadium.

Here are our pictures from the concert!

The crowd was just amazing.

Icca and I waiting in line.

Yet another picture of us!

Sean’s Birthday Dinner 2017

Hello dear readers,

We got ourselves a birthday celebration!

This year we decided to take Sean for Japanese Shabu Shabu instead of the usual Western food birthday meal. This restaurant is halal and it cost about RM 38++ per person for the buffet dinner. Each serving, you can choose 2 choices of meat from Lamb, Chicken and Beef. Here are some shots of the meal.

Udon noodles, Raw egg and beef slice. Then, I added in some hot soup to make it fully cooked.

Each person is served with Teriyaki Sauce and their signature chilli sauce.

I can never get enough of these mushrooms!

Of course, sushi is mandatory.

This side, we have the Kimchi soup (left) and Sukiyaki soup (right).

We have the meat ready for steamboat! This pot over here contains Sukiyaki Soup (left) and Miso Soup (right).

Fiq’s Gastronomy

Hi there!

Today I would like to share my experience dining at Fiq’s Gastronomy, SS19. Mojo suggested to come here because I’ve always wanted to try it out! He told me not to worry and just order whatever I wanted!

Here are our dishes:

I ordered the Braised Beef Rissoto. It is served with beef and mushroom. The risotto tasted perfect!

Mojo got the Roasted Spring Chicken. It is served with mash potatoes at the bottom of the chicken.

I was totally surprised by Mojo when the Deconstructed Cheesecake was served. I finally have the clique proposal I’ve always wanted. It totally took me by surprise.

P.S. I was so excited with our food, I totally forgotten to take pictures of the drinks we ordered! 😦
