Today’s blog post will be about my trip to Cameron Higlands, Pahang. We intended to start our journey at 7 am in the morning, but nobody could wake up in time, therefore we only left Subang Jaya at 9 am. The journey there was smooth as there were not much traffic, this was because most of the drivers on the road were already at work and it was a normal working day for the citizens of Kuala Lumpur.
On the way to Cameron Highlands, we stopped by the waterfall, Lata Iskandar, as we used to roads via Tapah. It is a nice place to enjoy and be one with nature. After a long journey from Kuala Lumpur, it is nice to relax and unwind with the scenery. The water over here is very clean and clear. There are also a bunch of roadside stores where you can get some snacks and souvenirs.
Lata Iskandar Waterfall is located at KM 25 Jalan Tapah-Brinchang-Blue Valley-Cameron Highlands, Tapah 35000, Malaysia.
We had finally made it to Cameron Highlands! Our first stop is to Scott’s Cafe. The restaurant was decently new and the staffs were friendly. The food served over there are affordable and tasty as were made from scratch. I had the Spinach with Salmon Pasta for my main and the Blueberry Cheesecake for desserts.
Scott’s Cafe is located at NO 24 Jalan Besar, Tanah Rata 39000, Malaysia and you may reach them at +60 5-491 4612.
After that, we proceeded to the Boh Tea Plantation. We did not get the memo that it was closed on Mondays, therefore we took a different route to see the same scenery. And because of a nice scenery, comes nice selfies!
Here’s a shot of us at The Big Red Strawberry Farm. We had super delicious and affordable strawberry desserts there. Good food and good company…. Best combo!
